The English Premier League returns this weekend with the clash between the Foxes and the Blues taking center stage at lunchtime on Saturday. Picking up right where we left off, before the World Cup Qualifying round of fixtures, the Egyptian King, Mohamed Salah retains the crown as the Premier League’s top scorer with a haul of 10 goals. Salah shares the spotlight with another, a devil, in the shape of Paul Pogba, from the red side of Manchester at the top of the assists list, with 7 apiece. Colored in two shades of blue, Chelsea’s Mendy and City’s Ederson are neck-and-neck with the highest number of clean sheets in the Premier League, 6. Chelsea remains at the top of the table while Norwich sits at the other end. Leicester City vs. Chelsea F.C. kicks off at 13:30 (GMT+1) on November 20, at the King Power Stadium.

Brendan Rodgers is being tipped for the managerial role at Manchester United, with several reports suggesting he remains the ideal candidate to replace an underperforming Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the helm. However, Rodgers will have his work cut out for him on Saturday as he looks to reverse the ugly trend which has seen the Foxes slip further down the table. Known to change shape depending on the strength of the opposition, Rodgers could go with the 3—5—2 formation, or its variant, the 3—4—1—2, with the duo consisting of Kelechi Iheanacho and Jamie Vardy in attack. Youri Tielemans (calf injury) joined the lot on the treatment table and remains doubtful for this fixture against the Blues.

The draw cut Chelsea’s lead at the top to three points ahead of second-placed Manchester City. With a total of 26 points after 8W, 2D, & 1L, Thomas Tuchel will be aiming for the kill on Saturday to see the blue patch of unbeaten run in five games extended: WWWWD. A 3—4—1—2 formation with Kai Havertz and Hudson-Odoi in attack is anticipated for this game against Leicester City. Romelu Lukaku was pictured back in training alongside Marcos Alonso during the week in preparation ahead of Saturday’s game. Both players could make an appearance before the end of the game.
