Preview Villarreal picked up a 2-0 win over Real Betis on Sunday, October the 3rd, right before the international break on home soil. Arnaut Danjuma (45+1’) had been denied by a goal-line clearance before establishing the lead for Villarreal in extra time after the first forty-five. Nine minutes after the hour, Danjuma (69’) rounded the goalkeeper for the brace. Villarreal are unbeaten in five games, DDWDW, and over the course of the entire season, while having a game in hand (vs. Deportivo Alaves). Villarreal have eight goals in seven La Liga games. The club has conceded three goals so far, which leaves the Yellow Submarine with a goal difference of +5. Unai Emery could adopt the 4—1—4—1 formation which saw him pick up his second victory of the season, with Yéremy Pino leading the attack. Arnaut Danjuma, who is the club’s top scorer with four goals to his name, could be on the left flank for Villarreal on Sunday. Following his exploits against Real Betis, the 24-year-old has a 50% total participation in all episodes that have led to a goal for the Yellow Submarine this season. The Nigerian international, Samuel Chukwueze recently returned to training with the squad following his injury lay-off which has seen him unable to make a single appearance this season. He could be available to make a cameo when Villarreal takes on Osasuna this weekend.

Los Rojillos are in 5th place with 14 points after 4W, 2D, & 2L, while having a form that reads: LWLWW. Manager Jagoba Arrasate will fancy a win over Valencia to see Osasuna remain at the upper end of the LaLiga table at the end of the weekend. In the game against Rayo, the 43-year-old adopted an attacking 4—3—3 formation with Kike García serving as the cutting knife in attack. Jagoba Arrasate appears to have a fully fit squad ahead of this Sunday’s fixture which will see Osasuna visit El Madrigal for their ninth appearance of the season.
