Without a win in five games: LDDLD, Burnley remains in 18th place, having picked up 4 points after 0W, 4D, & 5L. Sean Dyche could settle for a point, knowing a win could be tricky against Brentford. A quick look in the history books leaves onlookers knowing that Burnley hasn’t won any of their last five home league matches against newly-promoted sides (0W, 3D, & 2L). Dyche could line up with the 4—2—3—1 formation, having Chris Wood leading in attack on Saturday against Brentford.

Back in the Premier League, Brentford picked up back-to-back defeats (WDWLL), having lost to Leicester City 2-1 last weekend. A spectacular long-range effort from Youri Tielemans (14') had Leicester City in front inside the opening fifteen minutes. Moments after several clear-cut chances went by, Brentford got back on level terms through Mathias Jørgensen (60'). But James Maddison (74') would eventually condemn Brentford to their third defeat of the season after calmly tucking the ball into goal at the end of a well-executed counterattack. The Bees remained in 12th place on the Premier League table, with 12 points from 3W, 3D, & 3L. Thomas Frank aims to get back to winning ways at the end of Matchday 10, and Saturday could present a fine opportunity to do so. Brentford remains unbeaten away from home in the Premier League this season (2W, 2D, & 0L). On Saturday, Thomas Frank could emerge alongside the Bees with a dynamic 3—5—2 formation which could see Ivan Toney and Mbeumo in attack once again.
