Riddled with injuries, Stuttgart may be without Orel Mangala and Mohamed Sankoh. Meanwhile, centre-forward, Sasa Kalajdzic continues to struggle with fitness. Preview Freiburg stunned Borussia Dortmund in a hard-fought 2-1 win at the Schwarzwald-Stadion, last Saturday. The victory took them to fifth place on the German Bundesliga table, - leaving them with 4 points after 1W, 1D & 0L. Minutes after kick-off, an exquisite freekick from Vincent Grifo (6') gave Freiburg an early lead over Dortmund. After a few chances at both ends, both teams walked off the pitch at the interval with Freiburg having the narrow lead. Minutes after the break, Rolland Sallai (53') doubled the lead for Freiburg. But an own goal from Freiburg's Yannik Keitel (59' O.G.) saw Dortmund cut down the two-goal deficit to one. The opposition pressed for the second goal, but Freiburg soaked up the pressure and kept it tight at the back to see off the win. - The first for the new season. Christian Streich hopes Freiburg's trip to the Mercedes-Benz Arena on Saturday to take on Stuttgart would see his side pick up three more points. On Saturday he is expected to adopt a conventional 4--4--2 formation with the attacking duo of Höler and Jeong Woo-Yeong. On availability, head coach Christian Streich could be without centre-forward, Nils Petersen.
