Oxford City extended their unbeaten run to seven games in Vanarama National League South after an entertaining 1-1 draw with Eastbourne Borough on the south coast.
Joe Iaciofano’s goal secured the point for the Hoops but Ben Dudzinski saved a penalty in the second half to keep City in the game.
With only 9 minutes of the game gone, Chris Whelpdale opened the scoring with a neat finish underneath Dudzinski after the ball had come off the post from a flicked header.
