Nigel Pearson believes his side will need to be ready for the physical challenge posed by the Potters at Ashton Gate on Saturday (3pm).
City returned to Sky Bet Championship action with a victory on the road against Rotherham United and if they’re to emerge from the break with back-to-back wins, they’ll need to match the intensity of their ‘evolving’ visitors.
Stoke City are a side that are continually developing under Alex Neil but Pearson is certain one attribute to the their game won’t waiver - physical fitness. However, the City boss is confident his team have more than enough to match the Potters on Saturday.
