After a Cristiano Ronaldo-inspired comeback against Atalanta in the star-studded circle of champions, the Red Devils return to Premier League action to take on the Cityzens in the most-anticipated fixture of EPL Matchday 11, the Manchester derby. Preview Having secured a point in the 2-2 draw against Atalanta in Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League fixture, thanks to a brace by Ronaldo (45+1’ & 90+1’), Ole Gunnar Solskjær sets his sights on the derby. After the 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Liverpool, Ole dashed off to the drawing board for dramatic changes, only to return with the dynamic 3—5—2 formation which allowed him to fit in Cavani from the get-go alongside CR7. On Saturday, he will rely once more on Ronaldo’s remarkable form, which leaves him as the club's joint top-scorer with four goals, along with Bruno Fernandes and Mason Greenwood. Ole will keep the 3—5—2 which appears to be yielding the required numbers on the pitch. Pogba has a three-match ban following the red against Liverpool, and will not be in the squad for this fixture, and the next, having served the first against Spurs. Raphaël Varane was subbed off in the 38th minute against the Italians following a hamstring injury and has been ruled out for this fixture.
