The main action as goals from Sam Sanders and Lenell John-Lewis saw York City end their nine-game winless run in the Vanarama National League with a 2-0 victory away at in-form Woking.

The win confirmed the first double of the season after the Minstermen defeated Woking on opening day by the same scoreline, and it was a first win under the new management team in their first game in charge despite City being down to 10 men for most of the second half.
