For this week’s ten, we’re bringing a number of players from around the continent that are the sole reason their clubs aren’t in a far worse position. Featuring mostly attackers who can’t stop scoring, we start with Matheus Cunha who is Hertha Berlin’s best goalscorer and best creator - something he has in common with both Callum Wilson at Newcastle and Torino’s Andrea Belotti.
Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka is exceeding all expectations at his tender age, whilst the more experienced Iago Aspas is the only reason why Celta Vigo haven’t been relegated in pretty much every campaign since his arrival. Udinese’s Rodrigo de Paul and Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha continue to make sure their employers are ‘one-man teams’, whilst Hoffenheim’s Andrej Kramaric just can’t stop scoring.
We also go to the Netherlands and Portugal, where VVV-Venlo’s Giorgos Giakoumakis is the top scorer, and Farense’s Ryan Gauld is finally living up to the hype.
