This includes Patrik Schick, who scored 5 goals at the tournament, the same as Cristiano Ronaldo. While the likes of Kasper Dolberg and Thomas Meunier also impressed after experiencing difficult seasons.
Other names include Pablo Sarabia who scored twice for Spain at the Euros - and Liverpool winger Xherdan Shaqiri, who continued his superb record in major competitions for Switzerland this summer. Arsenal’s Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka also makes our list, impressing on the international stage after another inconsistent season at the Emirates. While West Ham’s Andriy Yarmolenko surprised everyone with his performances for Ukraine this summer.
