On today’s video, we run down 10 players whose wage demands could see them fail to land their dream move this summer! Erling Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola has spoken of him earning £1million a week in the future, and reports suggest he will look for £600K a week at his next club – coupled with a €150million price tag, he may well be out of reach of Man City, Man United, Real Madrid and Barcelona this summer, even if Borussia Dortmund fail to make the Champions League!
Kylian MBappé has also been tipped for a move, but the fact he wants the same salary as Neymar at PSG – around €36million a year – suggests he would ask for at least that at whichever club lands him. Veterans like Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi could be available for free, but having built up astronomical pay-packets over the years at the Bernabeu and Camp Nou respectively, and so will come at a huge cost.
We also take a look at Florian Thauvin, who is wanted by Milan, Kalidou Koulibaly, who has been linked with Everton and Liverpool, Man United’s Paul Pogba, and former Arsenal playmaker Aaron Ramsey.
