On 25th August 1923, Manchester City played our first ever game at Maine Road.
We would defeat Sheffield United 2-1 on that day, with plenty of unforgettable encounters to follow.
Built in the heart of Moss Side, it would remain our home for the next 80 years, with a plethora of famous faces and City sides stepping over the white line during that time.
