Eduardo Camavinga has been strongly linked with the club throughout the summer, and with Real Madrid seemingly cooling their interest in the French wonderkid, now could be the time to strike – although question marks remain over whether CDM is his best position. We also take a look at Hoffenheim destroyer Diadie Sammasekou, who could be a cheaper alternative, and Leicester’s Wilfred Ndidi, who is by now the gold standard for defensive midfielders in the Premier League, and would likely cost a huge amount of money.
