Then in midfield we shine a light on Inter Milan’s Nicolò Barella. Only 24, Barella has evolved into one of Serie A’s might skillful midfielders. And with Italy’s squad loaded with young talent, he will be wanting to prove he is the pick of the bunch.
Then finally in attack we are profiling Liverpool and Portugal forward Diogo Jota. The 24 year old has made huge leaps forward in the past 12 months. And with Cristiano Ronaldo not getting any younger, this could be his moment to confirm himself as Portugal’s main man upfront for many years to come.
