Instead, we’re looking at Manchester City, who have found their new Gabriel Jesus – and potential Haaland alternative – in a cut-price Argentinian prospect; Burnley, who have replaced Chris Wood with a sensational Bundesliga bargain; and Inter Milan, who might well have sewn up Serie A by besting Newcastle in the quest for Atalanta and Germany wingback Robin Gosens.
