On this week’s Scout Report, we discuss three players whose performances have been underrated this season! Burak Yilmaz’s clinical displays up top for Lille have provided much-needed firepower to a tactically conservative side – their unbreachable defence has rightly come in for big praise, but without Yilmaz’s goals they would be nowhere near the Ligue 1 title race. We’re looking forward to seeing him in the Champions League next term!
Over at Atletico Madrid, Luis Suarez has been the main headline-grabber, while Marcos Llorente has also hit double figures for both goals and assists. However, Yannick Carrasco has also been essential to the way Diego Simeone’s attack has operated in La Liga. Finally we go to Atalanta, where once again the goals have been flowing – but the signing of Cristian Romero from Juventus has also seen their defence get better too.
