We are delighted to announce Ashley Barnes has rejoined Burnley Football Club.
After officially leaving Norwich City by mutual consent, the striker has put pen to paper on a deal with the Clarets until the end of the season.
Speaking after signing, he couldn't hide his excitement: “It feels fantastic to be back home! Burnley has been a massive part of my life for over a decade, and I can't wait to pull on the Claret shirt again.”
It's almost eleven years to the day since the striker first joined the club and he could make his second debut in the derby on Saturday.
“I know how much this match means to the fans, it means just as much to me. They can rest assured I'll be giving everything for this club every single time I'm wearing the Burnley badge.”
