From deep underground Emirates Stadium, we're broadcasting Islington's finest to the world. With the help of an ensemble of courageous local creatives, we travel far beyond our borough's boundaries, following the radio-waves of Islington FM as they connect our global Arsenal Family together as one.
The fictional transmission station is encompassed in soundproof padding, and loud yellow flooring. It's a trove of dials, cables, switches, soundboards, speakers and monitors. In our signature yellow, an ‘On Air' sign flickers. It's a musical playground for our North London talent — filled with DJ decks, vinyls, an acoustic drum kit, and a selection of bass guitars. Arranged on the wall, four clocks display a range of timezones ensuring Islington FM reaches every Arsenal supporter out there.
Throughout the film, our creatives and players proudly show off the new kit. The eye-catching shirt features fluid black lines inspired by the map of our home borough. The design represents the journeys that supporters make out of the club's home borough for away days on the road. A fresh, shock-yellow base colour is complemented by light blue accents that feature on the collars and sleeves. It's bold, it's loud, and it's a reminder that North London is never far away.
You've been tuned into Islington FM, featuring: AntsLive, Lex Amor, Sherelle, Scratcha, London Sinfonietta, Real Lies, Theo Ellis (of Wolf Alice), Highbury Youth Choir, and NSG. Special guest appearances by: Ashley Walters, Asa Butterfield, Lava La Rue, and Mabel. Plus Arsenal's own: Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, Martin Ødegaard, and Gabriel Martinelli.
