On this week’s Euro Transfer Talk, there’s a lot of Barcelona chat as Xavi is finally named as the new manager of the club.
First up, the club retain their interest in Raheen Sterling, but it’ll be a big price to pay should they want him. Manchester City want Frenkie de Jong in return, and Bayern are said to be interested in the midfielder too – surely they can’t let him go? Kingsley Coman is said to be one of Xavi’s big targets, but would only join after Ousmane Dembele leaves next summer. If they leave it that long though, Real Madrid could snipe them and steal him this January.
Meanwhile, as all the big boys are focused on Haaland and Vlahovic, Barca might make a move for RB Salzburg sensation Karim Adeyemi – he'll be a lot cheaper too. A number of Real Madrid players could be on the way out, including Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Luka Jovic – even if some are intent on staying put.
Finally, Monaco’s Benoit Badiashile is a target for Antonio Conte’s Spurs. The rumours are hotting up for sure...
