In the aftermath of Barcelona's 3-2 loss to Athletic Bilbao in the Supercopa final, Ronald Koeman said he thinks Barca is on the right track, even after squandering a trophy. ESPN FC's Alejandro Moreno can't believe what he is hearing from Koeman, slamming the idea of moral victories while saying the Spanish giant actually took a step backward against Athletic. Moreno also calls Koeman's management of the final into question, expressing disbelief over Lionel Messi not being subbed off before picking up his first red card in a Barca shirt. From Moreno's perspective, it looks like Koeman viewed the Supercopa as Barcelona's best chance at a trophy this season.
