00:20 - Does it have everything you need?: We’ve had to cover a couple of players not fully fit. We’ve got everything covered.
01:25 - James Maddison, why?: He’s playing really well. There’s been moments where he wasn’t in contention but he’s playing as well as any attacking player. He’s different.
02:14 - Callum Wilson: I haven’t managed to speak to him. I spoke to Maddison. My priority is the difficult conversations and the sad news.
03:09 - Wilson over Abraham?: We’re ten days away, and form could be important.
04:18 - How are Phillips and Walker?: Kalvin is free of injury, we have to build his fitness level. We have Declan Rice and Henderson in holding so we don’t have a lot of cover in the position.
05:12 - Walker?: Kyle’s not back in training and he won’t play until the end of the group stages. Reece James? There were too many unknowns.
06:26 - Harry Maguire, conversations with Man United: Physically, we’ve had good communication with all the clubs. Some players have had intense seasons and some haven’t. The younger defenders haven’t done enough.
07:35 - Trent Alexander-Arnold: The only phone calls have been to the players I’ve left out the squad. There’s only so many hours in a day.
08:27 - Balance of experience: Maguire is one of our best centre backs. We’ve got a lot of players who have performed at tournaments and know what’s required.
09:16 - Maddison’s last involvement with England: last time was unfortunate from his perspective. For me that wasn’t the case. James is playing exceptionally well. Not enough players play forward these days.
10:28 - Was Maddison emotional: It was nice to give an enjoyable end to it. It’s my fourth World Cup and it’s a privilege.
11:14 - What has this side got?: They’ve all been good squads. This group is similar to the one that went to the Euros. We’re excited by the group.
12:50 - LGBTQ and Iran issues: We stand for inclusivity and we understand the problems this tournament possesses. With Iran I don’t know enough to comment.
13:39 - FIFA’s request about not speaking about political matters: Highly unlikely. We’ve always spoken about issues that need to be spoken about.
15:00 - Light in depth, midfield one of those?: Jude Bellingham has emerged a lot since the Euros. We only have four English goalies in the league and have an incredible injury list of fallbacks.
16:53 - Conte’s comments on Kane: I’ve stood here and spoken about the us losing players before this World Cup. We have some that need to train and some that need a rest.
18:00 - What have you learnt from the Euros and not selecting Ward-Prowse?: James is competing with Henderson and Bellingham and he’s just behind them. Things can still change.
