BLACKBURN ROVERS 1-0 BLACKPOOL | A tired performance
Swansea Away with 10 men followed by the heroics in a game that was like the Alamo to hold out against Stoke unfortunately made this 1 game too many for the Seasiders who looked tired out there, hopefully we can get back to form own Saturday because the games are running out.
I was working in London filming an advert for JSM Developments and it was a mad dash back to Blackpool and sadly it was all for nothing in the end. I arrived at Wood Park with about 8 minutes spare and there was a huge queue but nothing was to prepare for the absolute nightmare where hundreds of supporters could not get in or were stuck at the top of the stairs.
The other half of the end had been opened for pay on the gate fans and had well over a thousand spare seats but rather than simply escort the hundreds of Blackpool fans along the front of the seats and take them through to the other side of the away end to take up a seat there the stewards did absolutely nothing. If Blackpool had have scored in the first 15 minutes it could have been very dangerous indeed with fans trying to push up the stairs to get in and yet for the whole of the 1st half there were fans still stuck at the top of the stairs it was an absolute joke!
