BLACKPOOL 3-3 BRISTOL CITY | LATE DRAMA AND WILD CELEBRATIONS AS BLACKPOOL GET A DESERVED EQUALISER
Two teams coming into this game in great form and it showed as it finished 3 apiece. Blackpool just couldn’t get the cushion of a 2 goal lead despite having numerous chances in both halves but Bristol City always looked a threat, coming back from behind twice they took the lead in the most bizarre fashion as a header came back off the bar and there was nothing Marvin Ekpiteta could do to avoid it crashing back off him into the net.
It looked like for all their good work Blackpool were going to come up short and as some of the crowd were leaving a little prematurely Theo Corbeanu the Canadian winger on loan from Wolves stole the ball off the defender as Bristol City tied themselves up trying to pass it around the back and calmly slotted the ball away to send the Blackpool faithful into raptures.
Deep in injury time Josh Bowler was scythed down from behind as he was making a late surge through the Bristol City defence but from the subsequent free kick Blackpool failed to make it count with a winner.
It's starting to look better and Michael Appleton has got the team playing the kind of attacking football we love to see, the scoring is coming together but defensively we are leaking too many.
Hope you enjoy this video as Jane and I take you along to Bloomfield Road with us to experience the thrills and spills and the electric atmosphere generated by both sets of fans...ENJOY
