BLACKPOOL ILLUMINATIONS - RIDE THE LIGHTS 2021 | includes DRONE FOOTAGE
Just before the official switch on of the illuminations, Blackpool closes the Promenade for one night to allow a RIDE THE LIGHTS night. It is a fantastic occasion, a great night for families, lots of people light up their bikes, go in fancy dress and there are all sorts of quirky things like dodgem cars and post man pat van.
Usually I would ride through with my two boys but they were not free last night so rather than ride it on my own I decided to go down and film it and take some nice drone shots and do my best to try and capture the atmosphere and see it for myself as a spectator.
It was wonderful and all typically Blackpool, fun fun...FUN!!
