QPR'S pre-match poem ‘Born Blue & White' has been revamped, with its first airing on the big screen at MATRADE Loftus Road coming ahead of Saturday's game against Millwall.
Written and performed by R's fan Dean McKee, ‘Born Blue & White' has been a staple of the build-up to first-team fixtures in W12 since it was first used at the start of the 2019/20 campaign.
Dean tragically died from coronavirus in April 2020, at the age of just 28.
Following consultation with Dean's family, the ‘Born & Blue White' video has been updated, and they came to the stadium earlier this week to be the first people to see the new version.
Dean's mum Jayne said: “Dean and us, his family, are very proud of what he did. QPR have done him proud and he will live on through them forever.”
