Everton-mad youngster Dylan enjoyed an early Christmas surprise when he was called unexpectedly by striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
The 13-year-old, whose family are all avid Evertonians, is now recovering at home after recently undergoing a nine-hour emergency operation to deal with a brain aneurysm, which has left him needing rehabilitation to assist with his mobility, speech and eyesight.
Instead of a scheduled call with physios at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital - and with the help of Club partners USM - Dylan was instead faced with his Everton and England hero, as part of Everton’s True Blue Crimbo campaign to reward deserving youngsters who have endured a tough year.
