Stoke City produced a ruthless second-half display to book their place in round three of the Carabao Cup with a 5-0 victory at Middlesbrough on Tuesday evening.
Four goals in 12 second half minutes, including a Million Manhoef brace and strikes from Ryan Mmaee and Lewis Koumas, followed Emre Tezgel's opener to seal a memorable victory for Steven Schumacher's side.
Andrew Moran, who made his first start since joining on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion eleven days ago, provided assists for three of City's five goals.
The Potters' five-star performance was also achieved by City's youngest starting XI in recent history, with an average age of 20, including Academy trio Jaden Dixon, Sol Sidibe and Tezgel, and 19-year-old debutant Ashley Phillips, who signed on loan from Tottenham Hotspur on Friday.
