The Premier League club desperately need to invest in their defence this summer, and with Sevilla’s Jules Koundé no longer a priority, De Ligt is now in the spotlight. A money plus Timo Werner offer is reportedly on the table, but Juventus are apparently after a much bigger fee.
Meanwhile, AC Milan’s attempts to sign Hakim Ziyech on loan from the Blues has also hit some difficulties, with the two clubs currently at odds over what kind of deal they want to do. It’s also reported that the Serie A champions can’t stomach the Morocco forward’s wages in full. Rivals Juventus look to have secured both Angel Di Maria and Paul Pogba, and may target Roma star Nicolo Zaniolo to join them, while West Ham could be ready to make an offer for Villarreal’s Champions League hero Arnaut Danjuma!
