Javier Hernandez continues his dream start to the Major League Soccer season. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker scores a goal and registers the game-winning assist in his first appearance for LA Galaxy in El Trafico, a 2-1 win vs. LAFC. Playing without Carlos Vela, LAFC gets a goal from Diego Rossi, but Jonathan dos Santos gets on the end of a Chicharito pass to seal the win for the Galaxy in the 79th minute. The Galaxy are one of two MLS teams with nine points through four matches in 2021, along with another California rival, San Jose Earthquakes.
