Rochdale AFC and Rochdale AFC Community Trust teamed up recently to bring a number of their Hope Football participants to Platt Lane Sports Complex, the current place where the Dale first-team trains.
A number of players, including Dale's all-time leading goalscorer Ian Henderson and club captain Ethan Ebanks-Landell, came over and greeted Joseph, Hanzala, Kevin and Khalid, as well as the rest of the Hope Football Participants.
Charlotte Griffiths, Rochdale AFC Community Trust's Head of Community Operations, sat down with Dale Head Coach Jimmy McNulty to talk about the key reasons behind inviting the Hope Football team to watch training, as well as the importance of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion throughout the football club as a whole.
