In support of Mental Health Awareness Week, Wigan Athletic Community Trust are celebrating the work of pupils from Hawkley Hall High School in promoting positive mental health through the Premier League Inspires Challenge.
The students came up with the social media campaign, which culminated in the creation of a flag designed by a former PL Inspires participant, Abi, to promote positive mental health across Wigan.
Throughout the challenge, the pupils were supported by Latics U18 player Oscar Harris and first-team player Scott Smith, a former pupil at Hawkley Hall. Scott Smith actually took part in the original PL Enterprise Challenge during his time at Hawkley and was able to use his experience of the challenge to assist the pupils.
