To celebrate the #EFLWeekofAction, Latics players have been visiting Community Trust sessions across Wigan to support the club's official charity and work with a variety of participants.
The EFL Week of Action takes place every year and is an opportunity to highlight the impactful work of Community Club Organisations across the EFL.
This year, Latics players have supported the event more than ever and have visited a wide variety of Community Trust sessions and participants.
Liam Morrison and Baba Adeeko were joined by EFL CEO Trevor Birch to visit Wigan Athletic Community Trust's inclusive Every Player Counts session at Laithwaite Park to take part in some small sided matches and speak with participants at the session.
Charlie Hughes and Scott Smith visited the Community Trust's advanced development centre to meet the next generation of Latics supporters and to speak with the young players about their careers and pathway from the Academy into the first team before joining in with their training session.
Josh Stones also visited Wigan Athletic Community Trust's Leigh Extra Time Hub, which aims to tackle loneliness and social isolation amongst people aged over 55. At the session, Stones took part in some seated volleyball, table tennis and dominoes, as well as chatting with and getting to know the participants who attend the hub every week.
