Wigan Athletic Community Trust's Learn with Latics Alternate Provision has been helping students at Sharples High School improve their behaviour, confidence and enjoyment of School.
Staff from the Community Trust have been running the programme, that supports student's Maths and English with sports and enrichment sessions, to help boost the student's confidence and behaviour in School.
Aimed at students that may be struggling in mainstream education, the programme gives students an alternative way of learning about key subjects themed around sports.
Students also take part in P.E and football enrichment to help them learn about physical activities and their relationship to the sports industry.
To find out more about the Learn with Latics programme, please email Secondary Schools Manager Joe Rose by emailing j.rose@wiganathletic.com
