Earlier this month, Wigan Athletic Community Trust hosted an Iftar at the DW Stadium in partnership with Impact Community Group.
Nearly 300 people attended the Iftar both to break their fasts and for some people to learn more about Ramadan and experience an Iftar for the very first time.
Alongside the breaking of the fast, those in attendance also took part in the Maghrib prayer, a pitch-side tour of the DW Stadium.
The event was a celebration of the local community and the power of football to bring people from different backgrounds together.
