Orrell Newfold will represent Wigan Athletic at the Premier League Primary Stars Girls' U11s National Finals next month.
The tournament will welcome 20 teams to the home of Leeds United, Elland Road, to crown a national champion.
Having won Wigan Athletic Community Trust's regional tournament and the Northwest regional at Preston North End, Orrell Newfold took part in one final training session with Community Trust coaches ahead of next month's final.
In support of the Football Foundation and Wigan Council's opening of the Ella Toone pitch, the School christened the new pitch with its very first training session.
The students were also encouraged by Lioness Ella Toone who after the opening ceremony of the pitch named after her, stopped to sign autographs and offer some words of encouragement and advice to the Latics team.
