Wigan Athletic Community Trust holds EFL Utilita Kids Cup at Leigh Sport Village.
The tournament invites schools across Wigan and Leigh to compete to represent Latics in future rounds of the tournament. With the opportunity to play at Wembley Stadium, before the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final, available to the two clubs that make it to the final.
Featuring 30 schools from across Wigan and Leigh, the tournament was an excellent showcase of talent and determination from the pupils representing their schools. Alongside the football tournament, the pupils were also visited by Latics’ mascot Crusty the Pie, and had the chance to lift and have their photo taken with the Sky Bet League One Trophy.
