Liverpool are having a big summer, bringing in Szoboszlai and Mac Allister for close to £100m, and demands are high among the fan base, after the Reds dropped out of the Champions League for the first time since 2017. But last year was a mess, with van Dijk, Alexander-Arnold, and Fabinho all enduring miserable campaigns, and Juergen Klopp even saw his job in doubt, for the first time since he took over in 2015.
