Here is a full explanation of the Frenkie de Jong to Manchester United transfer delays, his Barcelona contract, the wages owed to him and how it is complicating and delaying his move to Man United.
It is probably the most complicated transfer I can remember United being involved in and I can see it dragging out for a bit longer too, at no fault of United's but as a consequence of Barcelona's abysmal finances and what they are trying to force De Jong to do.
