Liverpool head coach Arne Slot defended Darwin Nunez from criticism following missed opportunities to score goals, citing the forward's work rate and performance off the ball as important to judge him by.
One player who is scoring goals freely is Mohamed Salah, but Slot was once again tight-lipped to provide any update to the Egyptian's future with his contact expiring at the end of the season.
