In 2021, it was football fans in England who forced Premier League owners into backing out of the proposed European Super League, which ultimately led to the league's collapse.
Just two years on, the ability of those fans to protest, whether that be Manchester United supporters against the Glazers or Liverpool fans in regard to FSG, has potentially been thwarted by the U.K. government.
