Despite starting Monday evening’s game away to the Toffees well, the U23s found themselves 2-0 behind to the home side in the first half; a score-line that did not truly reflect the fixture.
Undeterred, the Irons kept on pushing, eventually levelling through Manny Longelo’s clever finish, before Armstrong Okoflex blasted in a rocket to secure all three points in a thrilling fixture.
