UFC fighter Gilbert Burns was a special guest at Everton's September Premier League fixture against Arsenal at Goodison Park before heading to the Club's Finch Farm training complex to meet some of the squad's star players.
Burns is currently the No.4 ranked Welterweight in the UFC with a formidable professional fighting record of 22-6-0. He is also a third-degree Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt athlete.
The visit, made possible thanks to Everton and UFC's official partner Stake, saw Burns head to the famous Grand Old Lady to soak up the atmosphere and watch the Blues take on Arsenal.
Burns then rounded off his trip to Merseyside by visiting Finch Farm where the 37-year-old put Club stars Jordan Pickford, Ashley Young, James Tarkowski and Ben Godfrey through their paces in a range of MMA-based challenges. The Brazilian also had his abilities tested with some football tasks in return.
