Ederson's early life and fledgling football career are the focus of the first episode of a new documentary which tells the Manchester City goalkeeper’s story.
The first instalment of the self-titled three-part film launches on CITY+ on Thursday 25 November and includes interviews with the 28-year-old’s family and friends, Brazil legend Rogerio Ceni, as well as a host of archive footage from his childhood.
We learn about his upbringing in Sao Paulo, how he started playing as an outfield player and hear from the coach who convinced him to become a goalkeeper, whilst we also find out about the agonising phone call which confirmed his unexpected release from his hometown club.
