City maintained top spot in the Premier League with a hard-fought win over Wolves on what proved a landmark day for both Raheem Sterling and Ederson.
Guardiola hails City centurions Ederson and Sterling
England international Sterling was the match-winner, his second-half penalty securing a sixth straight league win for Pep Guardiola’s side – and bringing up his 100th Premier League career goal.
Ederson also joined City’s centurions club, Saturday’s shut-out marking his 100th career clean sheet for us in what was just his 212th game.
Despite being reduced to 10-men just before half-time after the dismissal of Raul Jimenez, Wolves proved stubborn opponents.
But City kept our focus and composure to claim another crucial three point haul.
