FA CUP 3RD ROUND REPLAY BLACKPOOL 2-3 NOTTINGHAM FOREST BLACKPOOL GAVE EVERYTHING BUT COME UP SHORT
I have never been as proud, in defeat, of Blackpool as I was last night as they came back from two nil down to make it 2-2 at full time once again.
Blackpool could have won it at the death as KaramokoDembele went round the keeper only to see his narrow angle shot go just wide and they also had a few good chances in extra time to seal it but it wasn't to be as Blackpool gave away a sloppy corner in the 2nd half of extra time and Forest scored a great winner from the 2nd phase as they failed to get rid of the ball.
It was a cruel blow not to get to penalties as Blackpool deserved that chance after being by far the better team in the 2nd half and I would argue that we were even slightly the better team in the 1st half as well.
It was a great game of FA Cup replay magic so come along with me and experience the atmosphere, the drama in the stands and the ultimate pain of losing a game we fought so valiantly to win against a team 2 divisions above us in the Premier League.
It was cruel but football so often is, can we play like this in the league and get into the playoff spots?
