The comeback draw against Nashville SC was seen as a positive step in the right direction for the 5-Stripes after a stretch of rough play. Up until that draw, they had lost their last three games in MLS play. LAFC have won four of their last five matches; two of those wins were in the Open Cup. Like Atlanta, LAFC is also coming off a midweek match. On Tuesday, they beat Loudoun United 3-0 to advance to the quarterfinals of the Cup.
