A year on from the opener of Rugby World Cup 2023, rewatch the full match replay, as the tournament got off to a bang as France won the opening match at the Stade de France in Paris and for the first time ever, saw New Zealand lose a pool match at the tournament.
The Pool A encounter on the opening night always promised to be a cracker, but after the All Blacks scored inside the opening two minutes, Antoine Dupont and his men did well to regroup and eventually close the game out to ensure they got on the right track from the outset at their own World Cup.
