The recent reports of roof failure and leaks at the London Stadium will not have come as a surprise to many. At a time when the losses accrued by the former Olympic Stadium have reached £300 million, the temporary structure is in need of repair. The question is . . . how long will the taxpayer continue to subsidise West Ham to play Premier League football.
