Richard Arnold promised Manchester United fans the money was there for Erik ten Hag to begin his rebuild in the summer transfer window, yet here we are finding out that Man United are ready to sell James Garner despite having pretty much no midfielders.
What does that tell us? It tells us United need to raise funds in order to make new signings. It tells us the Glazers and Arnold have been lying about the money this summer. I mean, it isn't like the Glazers to lie to United fans is it?
It hurts, it really does hurt, that we're having these sorts of conversations so early on in Ten Hag's tenure but that is because we can all see he is the right man but he is not being given the support and backing he needs to succeed.
