On this week’s Euro Transfer Talk we’re taking you on a tour around the continent with some of the biggest stories to break in the last seven days. We kick it off with Romelu Lukaku, who has firmly put his Manchester United stint behind him, developing into one of the world’s lethal strikers, leading his former side Chelsea to be linked with making a move for a Belgian if they can’t land Erling Haaland - something that is looking increasingly unlikely.
Thomas Tuchel’s side have also been linked with Raphael Varane, with the Real Madrid defender refusing to sign a new deal with Real Madrid - the Blues’ Champions League opponents this evening. Man Utd and PSG are also interested, but want to wait until his contract expires in 2022, but Chelsea could make a move for him as soon as this summer.
Then of course there’s the news that Julian Nagelsmann will be the new Bayern Munich manager come July, whilst Gianluigi Donnarumma still hasn’t signed a new contract with AC Milan. The Italian could be on the way to Juventus, with the Rossoneri making a move for Lille stopper Mike Maignan.
Then we round it off with Manchester United, with the European Super League failure fueling rumours that the Glazers could sell the club. If anyone wants them though, they’ll be set back £4 BILLION, but stranger things have happened… Enjoy!
